This complex abstract piece is described in detail on a Felting and Fiber Studio blog post by the author. It is all about what being a “good girl” and a “bad girl” means for the artist, what it meant in the past and how that all connects with modern times and sensibilities.
Textures and sculptural elements are the main feature of this abstract, that is all in white and natural cream colours. This piece has a strong 3D character and extends out of its edges on the bottom part with strings and yarns swinging from its bottom edge. The shape of edges is irregular with an organic feeling.
This piece is medium-to -big sized (around 50x80 cm, unmounted) and will be a striking and tasteful addition to any space.
This artwork is part of the "Abstracts" collection by the author.
